Most unfortunately during times of financial difficulty the once friendly bank or other mortgage lending institution can prove most unsympathetic to the problems and seek only to take possession of your home. Before they can do so they must apply to the Court for a Possession Order and the Court will have discretion as to whether to delay or postpone the making of the Order sought.
